Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital | Salary up to £25,250pa depending on experience | 37.5 hours a week

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our Wessex Hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s even better.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:
Put patient care first

Carry out administrative duties

Support junior staff by acting as a role model

Assist nursing staff to run own caseload of procedures

Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact

Level 3 care qualification (or equivalent) required

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women’s Health and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.
