Your responsibilities: Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of all patients To assist the qualified nurse in the planning and allocation of resources To undertake additional training and responsibilities, and contribute to the skill development of others To assist in engaging patients in a range of therapies as prescribed by the therapy team To assist in the mentorship and supervision of junior staff To assist in the induction of new staff onto the unit Provide practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such and dressing, bathing and toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and relevant healthcare legislation Observe and monitor the wellbeing of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.
