Ward 1 is a busy 30 bedded General Older adult rehabilitation ward. You must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation process and be pro-active in achieving best outcomes for our patients. Experience in providing care for older people is desirable but not essential. Good communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team are essential.
The ability to communicate effectively and report/escalate any changes in patients’ condition appropriately and timeously.
You will be able to perform a range of clinical care tasks and clinical tests as directed by the Registered nurse and participate in the maintenance of written and electronic records in relation to patient care giving.
You will be a highly motivated individual, who is able to adapt and work in a flexible manner.
You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
