Job Description
ECM, a Hull based leading industry technology company with 40 years’ experience in the gambling sector, require an experienced designer to work on legacy and new products.As a senior member of the team your responsibilities will include:Ensuring all display advertisements and legal gaming information is correct and up to date across a wide range of display systems within the Bingo sector.
Flexible skills to work on legacy displays as well as the latest software applications.
Creating new graphics content to a varied display client base using both the latest Adobe packages, pixel perfect and colour limiting software
Ability to learn new software products, some of which are created in-house.
Ensure design projects are planned, organised, and completed on time, as specified, and in a professional manner.
Liaising with clients, and ECM team for fault finding software\hardware issues and providing solutions to sometimes complex problems.
Distributing graphics content to customer sites via various available methods.
As this role includes working on both high-end technology as well as pixel perfect colour limited technology, this role is both challenging and diverse, but rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide creative and innovative design content to major customers within the gaming sector.
- Must be proficient in the Adobe Suite including Photoshop, After Effects, Fireworks and Illustrator. Knowledge in Cinema 4D would be an advantage.
- Maintain and support legacy displays using pixel perfect, and colour restrictive software.
- Provide design and technical support to over 150 sites across the UK and Ireland.
- Ensure all Bingo data on display software is correct and up to date. This includes supporting, modifying and creation of ECM’s coding practice.
- Quality assurance of all legal information, when required during game play. This will be using ECM created hardware equipment.
- Liaise with site managers, group industry heads and engineers.
- Facilitating meetings with clients to gain project requirements.
Outline and specify requirements including clients wish lists, project goals, team requirements, timescales, and any possible hardware restrictions.Prepare accurate quotations for project costings.Create supporting documentations and storyboards to both clients and team for review.Ensure everyone involved fully understands the project requirements and client expectations. * Provide presentations and head up meetings for clients, directors and team members via available media or face to face.
- Ensure ongoing client support and regular progress reports are maintained, up to date and relevant.
- Provide ongoing team member support and organise regular reviews.
- Work alongside Development, QA, IT and Service Heads of Department providing guidelines, assets and documentation as required.
- Supporting installation of projects both software and hardware by liaising with clients, site engineers and ECM Customer Services teamArrange and provide annual Maintenance contracts for additional support.
Organising hardware testing with ECM team for existing legacy and new systems to ensure they are suitable for site.
Remote software support via client servers and web-based log-in sites. Accessing individual client’s systems and distributing software content for individual and nationwide use.
Problem solving both legacy and new software.
