We are recruiting for Senior Finance Officer to join the Finance Team at the Nuffield Department of Medicine.

You will report to the Unit Finance Manager and will provide processing support for management accounts including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. You will ensure strong financial controls are maintained which will be evidenced through monthly compliance tasks. You will process accruals and prepayments, updating and maintaining the Units contract registers, support the financial processes for SRF including internal trade and post NDM interdepartmental journals & AAP’s monthly accounts submissions.
To be successful, you will be AAT qualified or hold a similar level accounting qualification and be willing to study ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. You will have high level of numeracy and IT literacy, particularly in the use of spreadsheets and accounting software, and be able to produce a consistently high standard of work, with particular evidence of ability to work accurately with attention to detail. You will have strong time management and organisational skills with experience of prioritising a heavy and varied workload and meeting deadlines using own initiative and with minimal supervision.
