About the Role
As the Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing financial and commercial advice across the business to support strategy in a controlled manner. This will include giving advice and guidance to members of your team, Programme Managers, Capture teams and the wider Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for pricing and costing processes, ensuring related corporate policy and statutory regulations are met.
Stakeholder management within our US reporting structure and to our customer base is another significant aspect of this role.
The position is perfect for a qualified and established Finance, Accounting professional, with proven leadership and management skills, capable of developing a team within a key function of a business, driving productivity and improvement. Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Proven experience in a Senior Finance role (Senior Finance Manager, Finance Director, Senior Financial Controller or equivalent)
- Professional Accounting qualification (Qualified Accountant, Chartered Accountant, CIMA, ACCA)
- Demonstrable Management / Leadership experience
- Financial Control and Reporting
- Contract & Sub-Contract management experience
- Experience of a Corporate environment
- Attention to detail
- Customer facing with excellent stakeholder management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Financial reporting systems and Statutory Reporting
- Contract management within MOD / Defence Industry
- Pre and post-sale activity introducing and managing new contracts
