Flexible working - This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the Bracknell Head Office.
Salary range - The salary range for this role is set at £46,600 - £69,300
Contract type - We have both permanent and fixed term contracts of up to 12 months available
About the role
The Centre for Accounting interfaces into almost every part of our business, managing critical accounting judgements and assuring our results to produce our main financial reports, which inform the business of its performance. As well as developing processes, driving improvement and resolving issues with internal stakeholders including our brands, farming, manufacturing, treasury, international sourcing offices and more. It's a fast-paced environment but a great place to learn, develop and grow your knowledge of Finance fundamentals. The team loves to have fun along the way too - and have a real passion for supporting progression into the Finance function.
As a CfA Senior Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely management & statutory accounting numbers and the maintenance of a robust assurance process to ensure the integrity of the numbers. You will be responsible for the delivery of complex judgement and provide oversight of results within your area including designing new and more efficient processes that unlock time for ad-hoc projects. You will also manage assignments within the Accountant and Accounting Technician pools and we will support you to become empowered to make judgemental accounting recommendations.
You will have a depth of specialism in the area you are working alongside a broad understanding of all accounting areas. You will focus on customer centricity and identify e2e solutions and proactively influence the business. Through this role you will support Policy & External Reporting at Half Year and Year End as well as the audit process. You will have specific experience in process optimisation, digital mindset, experience and understanding of automation.
Essential skills you’ll need
You will have proven experience of working across a broad range of accounting areas performing investigations into issues and ensuring resolutions are identified and actioned. & stakeholder management skills, experience Influencing stakeholders to drive forward achievement of business outcomes
