Summary of Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly engaged and professional individual to join the Incisive Media centralised event Operations Team as a Senior Event Coordinator. The role will primarily focus on the operational delivery of digital, hybrid and face to face events, in the format of breakfast briefings, conferences, awards ceremonies and roadshows. The events are integrally linked to the division’s publications and their readership provides the main customer base for its events.

You will play a crucial role in the events team and will work closely with the other event managers and coordinators to ensure the professional and efficient organisation of all event logistics. As Senior Event Coordinator you will be required to deliver high quality events on time and to budget, and have an ability to cope in high pressure situations while never taking your eye off the important details.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Professional and timely delivery of the brands calendar of events, from conception to completion. These may include round tables, conferences, roadshows, and awards ceremonies, in the format of face to face, hybrid and on-line events.
  • Excellent cost management resulting in events being delivered on time and within budget
  • Strong customer focus through the development of excellent client relationships with speakers, sponsors, delegates, and suppliers
  • Effective project team work to ensure close cooperation between the events marketing, production and sales teams, ensuring maximum awareness of all event elements
  • Identifying suitable venues to ensure the best possible space and rates can be negotiated
  • Up to date with the latest event technology and event platforms, ensuring the team are using the most appropriate digital platform (where applicable) for the event format
  • Think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas that make the events stand out
  • Support and on occasions assist the rest of the event operations team in delivery of events as required from time to time

  • Flexibility and willingness to attend events outside normal office hours
  • Highly presentable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Adobe
