Role Title: Senior Engagement Manager, Business Solutions
Location: London, Paddington

Role Purpose...
This role leads our complex, transformative and high impact programmes with Partners. It ensures that we successfully deliver value to them from our engagements based on Vodafone’s unique value propositions: the knowledge and experience of Partner Markets, Group Functions and OpCo experts, blueprints, best practices, and shared services across Vodafone.

Your role is to identify, scope and deliver Business initiatives across all B2B segments with existing Partners as well as working with potential new partners in other regions, enhancing their overall base performance and accelerating their B2B business growth.

It’s an extremely wide-ranging role, which requires both breadth and depth of experience across all B2B functions, a strategic mindset, ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives, strong collaboration, and pragmatic application of resources, skills, and experience.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Interact with C-level in the Partner, understand their strategy, challenges and help them to connect with relevant programs, initiatives, and stakeholders in Vodafone.
  • Proactively identify, define, and take to market new B2B programs, projects & initiatives for the partner in the region and globally
  • Drive incremental revenue and margin for partners (new and existing), and for Vodafone, by implementing relevant programmes/ projects to enhance their business performance
With us you will...
Business development
Building on the successful delivery of programmes and the strong C- and D-level relationships in existing partners, the role is accountable for identifying and driving incremental initiatives with high value potential primarily for new footprint expansion as well as existing partners:
  • Business development to grow Partner Markets Business Solutions TCV and revenue, EBITDA and NPS performance measured by our Partner Markets Delight Index (PMDI)
  • Grow the VF Partner Markets Business Solutions portfolio as well as delivery of on-going support to ensure penetration of these offerings within the target markets (new footprint and existing)
  • Support the renewal and extension of existing partnerships by designing all B2B components of the proposal.

Impact delivery
Delivering high impact transformation programmes in B2B across all customer segments, channels, products and propositions, marketing, Enterprise CVM, digital and customer experience with significant EBITDA and NPS / PMDI impact.

As part of the impact delivery accountability:
  • Negotiate programme and project scope, statements of work and value measurement KPIs with Partners (new and existing), typically at CxO level.
  • Secure direct, indirect and 3rd party resources for individual delivery activities.
  • Deliver complex programmes and projects to time, cost, EBITDA impact and Partner satisfaction (measured by our proprietary Partner satisfaction metrics).
  • The individual will be expected to ensure the engagements are incepted and executed through the partner market framework.
  • Owns the relationship with the direct reports of Partner Market CMOs, EBU / B2B Directors and CCOs and supports them in driving B2B revenue and margin in their markets

  • B2B Telecoms & IT commercial experience in-market (ideally segment P&L ownership) or as a business development / engagement manager or principal in top-tier management consulting
