Introduction
Our client is a leading Consultancy company and is looking for someone who is passionate about Sustainability and Net Zero, to help their clients achieve their energy strategies!
You will be required to provide advice and guidance to clients, so excellent client facing skills and enthusiasm is a must!
My client offers hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week spent onsite as well as client site visits when required. The rest of the work can be done from home.
Key responsibilities
Supporting clients in the following areas:
- Provide advice to clients on the most cost-effective and beneficial route to achieve sustainability targets.
- Decarbonisation strategies.
- NZC roadmaps.
- Renewable feasibility studies (screening sites for PV).
- Building performance analysis.
- Experience modelling net zero carbon roadmaps.
- Measurement and Verification.
- Funding opportunities/business case writing.
- Calculate energy and carbon emissions from a range of technology types.
- Facilitate workshops with a broad range of stakeholders.
Skills & experience
- Knowledgeable on zero carbon feasibility at design stage, construction, and in-use stages.
- Low Carbon Energy Assessor accreditation would be beneficial.
- Knowledgeable regarding UKGBC, CIBSE, LETI.
- Knowledgeable regarding funding routes.
- A strong understanding of building physics.
- Commercial awareness and confident in preparing bid documents and managing resources, deliverables and budgets on projects.
- Be confident in undertaking independent research into sustainability, energy and Net Zero related topics.
