Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking a Care Support Worker with experience in learning disabilities or mental health to join their team on a full-time basis until May 2023. This role will be based in Reigate working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

What you will be responsible for
· Communicate effectively and appropriately with people who use The MyTime service, col-leagues and other professionals.
· Report any accident, incident, or untoward occurrence relating to the people who attend MyTime, visitors or staff.
· Attend to care needs identified within the care plan ensuring respect, privacy, and dignity at all times.
· Help to maintain/develop relationships between individuals and their families/carers/others.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.
You will have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment within the last 2 years and either a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social OR
· 12 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment in the last 3 years.
· Specific experience of working with patients that have learning disabilities or mental health conditions.
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
