Job description
A leading specialist engineering company based in Grantham, providing solutions to the oil, gas, water and construction industries have an immediate requirement for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join them.
As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will have experience in the electrical testing of LV control panels.

Salary: Circa £42,000 excellent benefits
As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be working within a team producing Control Panels including:
- To produce general arrangement drawings and schematic drawings for transformer rectifiers and switch-mode modules.
- Produce bill of materials
- Produce fabrication drawings using autoCAD and solidworks (they must at least 3 year experience with both)
- Liaise with clients and their representatives during witness FAT.
- Prepare test certificates and associated documentation.
- Working to other technical drawings (GA’s, fabrication etc.)
- Working to electrical schematic drawings
- Working to deadlines
- Testing remote monitoring systems
- Produce label drawings using autoCAD
- To assist in our test bay during busy periods of manufacturing
The skills required are:
* Background of electrical testing using single phase and 3 phase voltages (*must* have at least 3 years experience)
- Strong MS Office Skills (Required)
* AutoCAD and solidworks (*must* have at least 3 years)
* Control panel design (*must* have at least 3 years)
- Knowledge of PCB design
- Understanding of communication protocol (RS485/RJ45/serial/etc)
- Formal electrical qualification
