Job description

Why Arup?

Arup has worked on a large number of projects across the Midlands and UK. We are supporting inclusive growth, shaping our transport networks locally and nationally. We are designing the world’s most eco-friendly railway station for HS2 in Solihull and helping the UK Government with one of the largest projects trialling connected and autonomous vehicles in Milton Keynes and Coventry, UK Autodrive.

Arup continues to make a difference to local communities in the Midlands. Working on the Perry Barr masterplan, engaging with the local community over the past four years, we are helping to create a real sense of pride in the local area. Arup was extensively involved with the delivery of the Commonwealth Games, and now is working to deliver a sporting and community legacy along with supporting Birmingham Council by providing design, planning and technical expertise to transform the quality of the stadium and public spaces around it. Our work is helping to expand the uses of the stadium beyond significant sporting events to accommodate community and cultural needs.

A good proportion of our Midlands work is focused on UK based projects. However, our team is also active across a number of exciting international commissions which means there are opportunities for overseas travel according to individual project need!
