Job description
We are seeking an experienced Business director to oversee our UK company's business operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for business development, managing overseas marketing teams, providing support for clinical research, and managing distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies for business development (BD) and sales support in the UK and EU markets.
- Support and monitor BD teams to ensure they meet their targets and objectives.
- Provide support for clinical research, liaising with external parties and internal teams.
- Manage distributors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of BD and sales support activities, including analyzing data and preparing reports for senior management.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion in the markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Travel in the UK and overseas to attend conferences, meetings, and other events.
Requirements:
- English as mother tongue
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, medicine, or related field from QS Top 200 Universities.
- At least 5 years of experience in business management, with a track record of success in BD and sales management.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Experience managing distributors and overseeing marketing/BD teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Willingness to travel overseas when necessary.
- Experience in clinical research or a related field is preferred.
