SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Marketing Communications is a critical leadership role on a high growth platform. You will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and execution of our marketing communication efforts. The Senior Director, Marketing Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing communication plans to support the commercialization of our surgical robotic system and building stronger awareness for Aquablation Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading marketing and corporate communications, events and tradeshows, and digital marketing, for established companies within the medical device industry. This person will have strong leadership qualities and will have direct people leadership responsibilities.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and execution of omni channel marketing communication strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and market penetration for our surgical robot.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Upsteam and Downstream Product Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Legal, and Regulatory, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across all channels.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing communications budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact and ROI.
- Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of events and tradeshows, including booth design, logistics, and staffing, to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
- Drive the development of impactful marketing collateral, including brochures, sales tools, presentations, and digital content, to effectively communicate product messages and key elements of differentiation.
- Leverage digital marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and SEO/SEM, to maximize reach and engagement with target audiences.
- Lead corporate communication efforts, including press releases, thought leadership articles, and executive communications, to enhance brand reputation and establish Procept BioRobotics as a leader in BPH treatment.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of communications materials and services.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics’ Quality & EHS Policies
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in communications roles within the medical device industry, with a focus on marketing and corporate communications, events and tradeshows, and digital marketing.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing integrated communications strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing a high-performing communications team.
- Understanding the emerging role of AI in marketing (desired)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in the medical device, healthcare or life science industry required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop annual and long-term objectives for direct reports. Measure performance of direct reports against success criteria and provide feedback and coaching.
- Attract, hire, and develop top marketing talent and work with marketing leadership to position Procept BioRobotics marketing as a destination for top medical device marketing talent

While our ranges are posted, the exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, location or comparison to other employees already in similar roles. In addition to base salary, our positions are eligible for variable compensation through one of our incentive plans as well as equity compensation based on role and level.
