Senior Director, IT Operations (hybrid/local remote)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Senior Director of IT Operations is a strategic leader who can develop, oversee, and manage our technical operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and optimal performance of our infrastructure, applications, and teams. Your demonstrated ability to motivate, collaborate, and lead will drive improvements as you deliver on cross company projects and strategic initiatives. You have a deep knowledge of Service Management and are an expert on Lean/Six Sigma Process Improvement. You will develop a strong operations team of directors, senior managers, and SMEs and prioritize multiple initiatives and meet deadlines. You will set the technical vision and ensure alignment across the IT organization and with business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Tandigm Health’s commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care, and concern with each internal and external customer.
- Establish, Manage, and Continually Improve: Application Support, End User Device Support (Desktop, Mobile, Phone), Infrastructure Support (Cloud on on-prem, including AV), IT Vendor Management, Help Desk.
- Implement and operate strategic source plans to provide operational services.
- Coordinate cross-company projects to deliver on important strategic initiatives.
- Manage a team of directors, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
- Communicate regularly with other departments to proactively understand operational requirements and ticket status. Supports the team in overcoming roadblocks and escalates, as appropriate, to VP, Information Technology.
- Attract, mentor, and motivate staff to establish a high-performing team properly aligned to the organization’s needs.
- Use, protect, and disclose Tandigm’s patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or any similar combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical operations in healthcare or life science organizations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior operations roles.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, collaborate, and lead.
- Highly organized with a record of prioritizing multiple initiatives and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Service Management (ITIL or equivalent)
- Process Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
