About the role:
Help us define and maintain FDM’s visual identity
The first impression of a company is often visual, so we understand the importance of having the right Senior Graphic Designer. We are searching for a talented designer to join our in-house creative agency to work alongside our energetic and diverse team. Based in London, you will be part of the UK & EMEA design team but working with the global creative team.
In this role, you will be relied upon to design and execute marketing material that elevates FDM’s brand perception in the marketplace. Comfortably handling multiple projects at the same time, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Department in the UK and the global creative team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design of print/web/digital marketing material including PowerPoint templates, newsletters, brochures, magazines, posters, banners and stands
- Design and maintain standard FDM templates, such as social media graphics, corporate presentations, business cards, flyers and reports
- Contribute to projects such as brand refresh project, website redesign, video production and online media
- Ensure marketing material is kept up to date
- Build engaging PowerPoint presentations
- Assist team members in the Marketing Department during campaigns and projects
- Be part of creative briefing sessions
What we are looking for:
- Someone who is going to push the creative boundaries and deliver beyond expectations, enhancing our visual identity through thoughtful and innovative design work
- Developing engaging presentations, design assets, and data visualisations
- Some knowledge of HTML and CSS coding for websites and HTML emails
- Presentation Design
- Creative and innovative with the ability to multi-task, follow instructions and use own initiative
- Knowledge of Print Production processes and Art working to prioritise tasks
- Effective organisational skills with ability to prioritise
- Good communication, presenting work to internal stakeholders and team members
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good team-working skills and ability to self- motivate
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Experienced in an in-house agency model
- Think beyond graphic design, a left and right brain thinker, driven by big ideas and excellent execution
- Excellent conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities and enjoys the thrill of a dynamic workload
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Desirable but not essential:
- Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and Programming languages
