We are looking for a Senior dental nurse to join our team to provide leadership, and guidance to the team to enable objectives and service level agreements to be met, thereby ensuring a sound contribution to the work of Health and Community Services.
The successful candidate will be required to assist the Consultants and Dental Officers in delivering a high standard of dental care to all patients in a professional, safe and caring environment within the Department and in the community setting, ensure all new staff and current staff are inducted and trained to the correct standard, support the Service Line Manager with the management of the Department by conducting administration duties, as well as take responsibility for all dental nurses and the HCA.
It is essential that a fully trained, qualified Dental Nurse will have obtained the Registered Dental Surgery Nurse Certificate and should have or be studying towards the following qualifications - Oral Health Certificate, Certificate in Dental Radiography, Registered Orthodontic Nurse Certificate and the Certificate in Conscious Sedation. In addition, the post holder must hold registration on the National Registry for Dental Nurses.
