Senior Delivery Manager

  • Manage the end -to-end delivery of the program within Scope, Time, Cost, quality and management of the associated risks.
  • Will be responsible for technology project plans, controls and resource mapping, making sure that they’re in line with any wider programme plans and controls. Should maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and at different levels of hierarchy, including respective technology or business project managers.

We are looking for a dynamic and an assertive , hands-on Delivery manager, with the following :

  • Good communication and with a track record of confidently managing large programs
  • Experience in delivering programs in Digital, data, CRM, Infrastructure, SAP, applications modernization etc.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology and associated tool sets.
  • Experience in working in one or more multi-vendor engagement projects or programmes across the full life cycle of project or product delivery.
  • In-depth understanding of different phases of project/product delivery and the ability to plan, run and deliver business & technology change/products end to end
  • Ability to work through complexities and manage external suppliers effectively
  • Additionally, should demonstrate senior level stakeholder management and team management experience, as well as experience in bringing together business and technical people and forming dynamic delivery teams working in tandem
  • Financial and commercial management skills, with the ability to support effective budget management within the constraints of a project and to monitor projected budget against expenditure.
  • Good planning and forecasting skills, with the ability to track, manage, escalate and communicate dependencies on time
  • Experience of actively Removing or Minimising Risks, Issues or Dependencies where possible, with the ability to develop a plan for different situations and provide delivery confidence
  • Empower and lead a team through the project lifecycle, setting and monitoring team member objectives and carrying out regular coaching and formal appraisals alongside our management framework
  • Take ownership for capability development, and ensure succession plans are in place

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £80,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
