At Parkinson’s UK we are developing and expanding our data team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving team in a new role and be part of a critical area of the charity that underpins the key work of Parkinson’s UK.
About the role
As a key member of the Data Team, you’ll help design the roadmap for Data Operations, lead and develop a small team, and build strong relationships with all stakeholders to use our data and technology ecosystem to create efficient data operations processes across the organisation.
Applying your expert knowledge of relational databases, SQL, CRM and fundraising data, you’ll ensure accurate, secure and timely flows of data across the charity and its partners.
What you’ll do:
Work closely with Fundraising and other teams to deliver campaign selections and other supporting data services.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and challenges, and advise on solutions.
Develop robust and reusable queries and processes to deliver effective data flows across the organisation.
Create and manage a simple and efficient briefing and delivery process for data ops stakeholders across PUK
Leverage PUK’s data and tech (incl Snowflake, SQL, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to drive innovation in Data Ops.
Support the automation of our marketing and comms operations.
What you’ll bring:
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders up to senior levels, and communicate complex data issues with non-technical colleagues
A background in delivering data selections for marketing and comms activities, and previous experience working in a marketing or fundraising data environment
Experience of data quality and management processes
Working knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, and Information Security standards
Strong SQL skills (3+ years), and hands-on experience with CRM data
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent marketing automation platform

As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week. You’ll be required to cover your own travel expenses to the office.
