We have a fantastic opportunity to join our clients Finance team for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Credit Controller. If you have the ability to actively manage and maintain the sales ledger accounts assigned, maximise Cash Flow/Sales Revenue and minimise bad debts, then this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the collection of overdue accounts, meeting collection targets and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Undertake complex account reconciliations.
- Complete final accounting procedures and release retentions.
- Allocate customer payments accurately to ensure correct ledger transactions.
- Process and issue applications, invoices, and supporting documentation promptly and accurately.
- Handle and investigate customer queries in a timely manner, providing exceptional service.
- Oversee weekly cashflow forecasts to support financial planning.
- Maintain customer accounts and review credit limits based on business needs.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong Credit Control background, ideally within a small team.
- Experience in the construction industry or similar complex collections background is desired but not required.
- Proficiency in B2B collections practices.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a desire to explore and interpret data.
- Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to build effective working relationships.
- Commercial acumen and business awareness to contribute to financial decision-making.
- Deadline-oriented with the ability to work within time constraints.
- Chartered Institute of Credit Management, desirable but not required.
