Full Time London, England 26889 - 39389 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Founded in 2004, Rapha exists to inspire the world to live life by bike. We believe that cycling has the power to transform people’s lives and it’s this experience that we want to share with the world.

Over the last 19 years, in pursuit of our mission, Rapha has established a reputation for producing the world’s finest cycling clothing and publishing beautiful editorial content. From books by Rapha Editions to our in-house magazine Mondial and the many films we’ve created, every piece of editorial content is worked on by world-class creatives. Now, as we continue to inspire cyclists new and old, we are seeking a Senior Copywriter to lead the creation of our high-quality written content and the evolution of Rapha’s tone of voice.

Reporting into the Global Marketing Director and working with the broader Marketing and Creative Teams, the successful candidate will gain a unique opportunity to be the voice of the Rapha brand. From the outset, you’ll be trusted to take on that responsibility and supported to succeed. In an open and inclusive environment, you’ll work alongside creative people of all kinds to craft smart and incisive copy for all of our outputs and channels, from our most prominent projects to those that form the bedrock of the brand.

You’ll bring our campaigns to life, collaborating with your colleagues on creative concepts, ad copy, film scripts and more. You’ll also take the lead in elevating Rapha’s editorial output with full features and interview pieces. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Team to create engaging, varied copy that helps our communications cut through the noise.

Writing for our owned, earned and paid media, you’ll flex the style and tone of your copy to suit the channel and audience. Working to tight deadlines, you’ll maintain very high standards for your own work and edit the work of others.

To engage our well informed audience, you’ll keep your finger on the pulse of racing, industry trends and cycling culture, writing as a figure of authority on cycling who can uphold Rapha’s tone of voice.

You even get to play a part in the appearance of our products. Working with the Product Team, you’ll help create the hidden story labels in each of our products. And crucially, when those products are ready to be launched, you’ll also be responsible for writing clear, informative product copy that helps our customers understand our range and make informed decisions.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Rapha’s brand and quickly demonstrate the ability to communicate it to our global audience. They will write with flair and style, helping to inform our tone of voice. A passion for sport is crucial and a deep knowledge of cycling is preferred.
