Overview:

Reporting to the Content Delivery Manager, the Senior Content QA will carry out a valuable in the success of a large digital website project, by overseeing QA within their project teams and monitoring the quality of the websites. Liaising with the Senior Author’s, the successful candidate will be responsible for consistency throughout the websites. The Senior Content QA will be the escalation point for Content QA’s. The ideal candidate must be approachable, have a strong work ethic, be honest, dependable and responsible, with an ability to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Support and guide the Content QA team to ensure quality standards are adhered to, being the escalation point and advising on the best approach for any issues that arise
• Adhere to all established Best-Practices, and in doing so, set an example to other QAs in the team
• Ensuring that websites comply with standards at both global and local market levels
• Work with the Senior Author’s and Content QA’s to identify and resolve issues within the authoring and Content QA team
• Test the accuracy of the content, confirming that all updates are displaying correctly, contributing to a premium web experience for consumers across desktop, tablet and mobile devices
• Work within the CMS to complete tasks such as sending translations and publishing content to the live websites
• Conduct daily stand ups with their team to make sure members are on track and escalate any delays to the Delivery manager
• Convey passion for the work and the websites, motivating the wider team to do the same
• Determine training needs based on negative trends identified within Content QA and Authoring team and escalate to the relevant person
• Undertake administrative tasks relating to the Content QA team

Person Specification
Experience/Skills:

• Able to operate effectively in a global environment focused on delivering goals to a high quality
• High level of Experience of using SDL Tridion or a comparable Content Management Tool
• Understanding of UX/UI in relation to the Jaguar and Land Rover websites
• Right first time ethos
• Quality approach to delivering objectives
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to co-ordinate workload and manage multiple, potentially conflicting objectives across a diverse team

Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery of the first-class services we are known for.
