We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compliance Product Manager to join our team, where you will shape and be the driving force to the success of your product domain.
This is a hands-on role with lots of variety, from category and marketing management to using your invaluable market and commercial insight to identify new product opportunities and setting product strategies.
Everything you need to make a difference is on hand and you will work with and take inspiration from our knowledgeable and trusted inhouse teams. No two days will be the same as you lead the domain, driving product initiatives from concept to launch and enjoy developing valuable and insightful relationships with our partners and customers.
Please be aware that this role involves meeting clients, requiring occasional travel to either UK and Worldwide which will involve potentially over 2-3 days or the exceptional 3-5 days in duration.
Responsibilities:
Management of the Compliance domain where PPS is undergoing a business transformation in terms of:
Transaction monitoring for fraud prevention and AML
Screening of accountholders (both users and businesses & UBOs) and payee & payers
Accountholder database as a centralise function for all cardholder records in terms KYC, screening outputs & risk scoring
360view of accountholder and case management
Regulatory reporting where requirements can vary between regulators
The Product domain delivery of the minimum needs of clients to facilitate the move away from the legacy platform, ensuring deliverables are operationally supportable, scalable, compliant and secure
Driving continuous improvements across the product domains and solving pain points.
Be the business single point of contact for a specified PPS functional domain.
Working with the product domain cross functional team to: Capture and document clear user stories or standard feature overview
Give the development teams clear business context and measurable business objectives to motivate and get buy in to deliver on time
Rationalising the business case to prioritise the backlog in line with PPS’ strategy, roadmap planning, monitoring progress, status reporting, estimating effort and support the governance process
Support other team members to achieve company objectives along with promoting a positive collaborative atmosphere
Balance continuous improvement & operational optimisations, with client requirements whilst managing parallel requests and workstreams.
Skills and Experience:
A clear understanding of Agile principles
Proven experience of a product mindset working in product strategy development and all aspects of the product lifecycle
Confident research, analytical and reporting skills
Quick learner within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a positive attitude and outlook, determined, enthusiastic and resilient
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with teams both onshore and offshore.
Ability to empathise with clients and & internal users to better understand their needs and pain points.
Work independently with agreed remit and autonomy
Highly organised, with experience of working within an agile environment and able to provide clear concise reporting on progress, risks and issues.
Demonstrable experience being a bridge between the technical and business worlds
Experience of working with external clients and 3rd parties in a customer facing business
Demonstrable experience required in Case Management, Screening, KYC, Risk scoring and Transaction monitoring
Desirable:
Able to construct SQL to retrieve data from databases, understanding source code and software development lifecycles
Foreign languages a plus: Spanish, Portuguese or French
