We're seeking two skilled and experienced communications professionals with proven experience to join our Corporate Communications Team within one of the largest and highest performing local authorities in the country.
Working closely with the relevant Communications Team Leader, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a wide range of internal and external communications, either for the County Council’s Adults’ Health and Care (including Public Health) or Children’s Services Directorates - promoting the work of these large service areas to the public, staff, and stakeholders.
Using your outstanding written, PR and digital communication skills, you'll be able to demonstrate proven experience and be highly skilled in content development and promotion through broadcast, print and online media, maximising the use of digital and social channels – to positively engage a wide range of internal and external audiences and deliver excellent results.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate the positive impact of our communications through KPI data and evaluation, every step of the way.
The successful candidates will be expected to work closely with a wide range of staff and stakeholders across the County Council, as well as partner organisations. You’ll need a can-do attitude and be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the detail, while always adhering to agreed standards and protocols.
We welcome new ideas and ways of thinking, so if you're a strong team player, and enjoy delivering effective and creative solutions, while demonstrating a real understanding of the issues involved, we'd love to hear from you!
