We are looking for a Senior Collections Strategy Specialist / Consultant to play a key role for a six month period in enhancing Starling’s strategies, policies and procedures for managing retail and SME collections.
Please note; this is a 6-month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
- Development, review and enhancement of customer engagement strategies and approach to achieve customer outcomes, reviewing the effectiveness of the current approach
- Enhancement and maintenance of Starling’s policies for Collections, ensuring Starling customers get the best possible outcomes, and we meet the requirements of regulations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to understand the risks in the portfolio
- Ensure policies and procedures adhere to relevant regulation
- Significant previous collections strategy experience, across both retail and SME
- Strong familiarity with relevant regulation, including CONC 7, the Consumer Credit Act (CCA) and the Lending Standards Board (LSB)
- Experience of delivering policies and procedures
- Ability to support the rollout of policies and procedures
- A collaborative working style, able to deliver change
- Good qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly organised, with the ability to deliver to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities within a dynamic environment
