Cardnet is Lloyds banking Group’s card payment acceptance service. We help businesses to take payment by credit or debit card in person, online and when the cardholder is not present. Cardnet is a joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and Fi-Serve. Fi-Serve are one of the world’s largest card processors.
The Role:
We're looking for a Director who'd be responsible for the E-Commerce Field Sales Team. This is a new leadership role created as part of the team’s expansion in 2022 / 23. The role involves supporting new business acquisition through providing leadership and guiding others, whilst managing associated income and risks using specialist knowledge. You’ll also be responsible for promoting the range of technology led solutions provided by Cardnet directly with business customers.
You'll have excellent leadership abilities along with a real determination to deliver. Using your customer focused approach, you'll ensure that doing the right thing for customers is at the heart of all your recommendations and decision making.
What we'll need from you:
Essential:
- Performance management of a team is a critical aspect of this role and therefore ability to review & develop performance is crucial
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong organisational and commercial awareness
- Proven capability with respect to the management of Risk (business and credit)
Desirable:
- Product knowledge would be advantageous for this role
Given the nature of the role, travel around the region will be required.
