Children’s Residential Support Worker
To provide support to young people with learning disabilities

Hours- 37.5 hours per week
Starting salary potential £31,417.00 per annum
(£25,546.00 annual salary) + (£4,680 6 sleep in shifts per month) + (£1,191 enhancement for 40 weekend hours per month.)
2 yearly salary increments.
27 days annual leave rising to 30 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years plus bank holidays.

Main Responsibilities
- As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide a fun and nurturing environment giving young people the opportunity to experience a lasting sense of achievement and happiness.
- Working as part of a residential care team you will provide support for individuals with their physical, health, emotional and social needs with an emphasis on promoting independence.
- As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for administration of medication, daily reporting and personal care within morning and evening routines.
- You will communicate effectively with parents and carers building positive relationships with families and other professionals.
- Residential Support Workers may be required to assist with aspects of personal care, such as getting dressed and bathing.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for caring, positive and professional Senior Support Care Workers. Providing care and support, working in a friendly and busy environment.
For our senior roles we are looking for candidates that are qualified to Level 4 in children, young people and families practitioner or equivalent. Experience working in a children’s residential home is needed with a passion and drive for excellent outcomes.
