If there’s one thing you’ll get here at Edgewell, it’s a collaborative group full of likeable, diverse and nurturing colleagues. They’re an inspiring bunch. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
- Work across the top seven customer base to fully understand each retailer strategy and how Edgewell can leverage our category vision to create a win/win situation that will grow the category and benefit our business.
- Develop compelling arguments that influence customer plans on ranging, merchandising, promotion and shopper communication.
- Own the range review process. Develop clear recommendations that include customer/category performance, range, distribution, space & fixture layout recommendations, promotion advice & pricing insight.
- Identify issues and opportunities in the category (pricing, promotion, NPD, activation etc.) and co- develop winning strategies around these with Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Strategy functions.
- Drive ROI from research by advising Commercial & Marketing teams on key business opportunities / risks to drive Edgewell’s growth across all channels.
- With customers, co-develop and run in-store trials to identify better ways to win at fixture, give shoppers a better experience and grow the category.
Ideally you will have Category, Marketing or Shopper Insights experience gained within a commercial or consumer goods company.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Significant Category Management experience either within Personal Care or wider FMCG environment.
- Clear experience of owning and developing customer relationships with positive outcomes.
- Understanding of consumer / shopper Insights with experience of working with a range of shopper and consumer data sources e.g. Nielsen, IRI, Kantar Worldpanel, Boots AdCard, Dunnhumby etc.
- Excellent computer skills, including spread sheet, database and presentation software.
- Experience with JDA space planning is also desirable.
- Preferably a university degree or equivalent in commercial related subject, but not essential.
