Job description

We are looking for a senior night carer with experience caring for adults. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, interact with the Residents and direct them. The ideal person will be able to work well within a team, and alone, is committed to being flexible during busy periods. Level 2 Health and social care is preferred. We offer a two week rolling rota with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake routine care.
• Undertake personal care to help residents live independently.
• Understand a residents medical condition and physical requirements.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily activities..
• Administer medication, training will be given
• Tend to clients' basic needs.
• Supervise, monitor, and assist as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• providing care: 1 year (preferred)
• supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
