Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant for Sandwell Local Council within a small management team of Fountain Court.
As a senior care assistant, it will be your duty to support the registered home's manager in all aspects of the home's management and taking temporary charge of the home in their absence, while complying with Sandwell Metropolitan Councils policies and procedures. You must enable service users to access services appropriate to their needs while following health and safety policies.
This vacancy will require you to have previous experience of contributing to the protection and safeguarding of individuals, maintaining accurate records in accordance with the service standards and contributing to the efficient running of the home and the creation of a positive atmosphere. You will need to be organised and manage your own workload as well as arrange meetings and appointments for both external contractors and other staff members.
This role will be on a part-time basis of 23.5 hours a week with flexible working hours ranging from 7am-10pm while be specified on the shift rota.
Essential Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS
- Previous experience working in Care
