Seaford Pharmaceuticals is a proud Canadian company founded in 1991 by the Seales family, dedicated to developing and marketing specialty healthcare solutions to Canadians and abroad.
We are looking for a persuasive and resourceful Sales Representative to effectively present and sell Seaford products to physicians, retail pharmacists, hospitals, and other targeted health professional customers. The position will allow you to further develop your skills and experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical field as well as participate in our fun, stimulating, fast-paced and supportive company environment. Relationship Developer – You find it easy to read the room. You have a natural ability to build trust and communicate our products with genuine care and education for what they will provide the patients that purchase them.
Hunter/Farmer – You thrive on opening new doors and developing your own accounts. All in the same, you take pride in maintaining existing business and utilizing your impeccable listening skills to understand what your clients need to understand in order to maintain our products as top of mind.
Appetite for Sales – You are naturally driven to obtain the knowledge you need to reach your targets while sharing solutions with team members, building an environment for success.
Responsibilities
- Medical and product knowledge
- Cold call on Physicians, build new relationships and business
- Develop and maintain proper physician and retail records.
- Call on pharmacies in drug, food, and mass retail store locations
- Communicating with pharmacists and executing sales through store managers/owners
- Accountable for new sales opportunities and to maintain current product distribution
- Manage a dedicated sales territory that includes a large, pre-existing customer base as well as prospect and develop new business relationships
- Responsibility of representative to know what is happening at store level including but not limited to information such as sales activity and competitive knowledge
- Territory planning and execution
- Monitor competitive activity
- Communicate in a format as directed by the district manager to ensure mutual understanding of the needs of the representative to achieve the business objectives.

- Working hours
- Be ready for work during business hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and occasionally nights and/or weekends as business needs dictate.
Qualifications
- Degree, preferably in Health Sciences or Business
- 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable with frequent travel within assigned territory
