With the Apple TV App and the introduction of Apple TV+, as well as the integration of video apps and channels, we have doubled down on offering amazing content to our customers, both produced by Apple and our partners. We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Manager to further grow our Video business in UK/IE. The Senior Business Manager needs to be an outstanding teammate, data proficient and analytically-minded. As well, the Senior Business Manager should display a thorough understanding of the market, partner, content landscapes and experience handling subscription businesses.

Key Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in the movie and TV industry within a subscription environment.
  • An understanding of the video marketplace, content rights and distribution, with a view of key trends and players, through a strong local network.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, and able to clearly present actionable business insights to Senior Leadership.
  • Proven success running businesses, with experience in running commercial strategies and planning.
  • Excellent leadership skills: setting goals, driving performance and encouraging collaboration with a can-do attitude.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented and highly adaptable approach, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic approach that is naturally curious and is consistently looking for new ways of delivering a complete viewing solution for viewers.
  • Experience in leading a complex video offering.
  • Passionate about technology and obsessed over the best customer experience, combining attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.

Description

In this role, you will: Build plans and initiatives to drive business growth for video, based on your insights and data analysis. Leverage self-serve data dashboards as well as your own queries to develop hypotheses and initiate tactics to mitigate downward trends and drive growth. Work across a wide range of cross-functional teams to build momentum around an initiative and see it through. Look for areas of opportunity and look to where you can deliver consumer-first campaigns that grow our video business. Keep a keen and curious eye on the market, the competition and trends to identify takeaways and opportunities for growth. Work curiously and analytically, building captivating narratives around results and trends occurring within the local business while you also deliver and develop strategies around these findings.
