Missions
Directly reporting to Jonathan, the Head of International Business Development, you will play a key role in accelerating Worldia’s international expansion by leading our UK business development efforts to open and develop successful partnerships with major travel players.
The role requires an ambitious, autonomous and long-term relationship-builder approach, with a successful previous experience in managing complex sales cycles combining travel products and/or technology.
- Business Development (80%)
- Create, build and develop key relationships with Target Accounts from the Travel Industry, including Independent, Integrated and home-based Travel Agency networks,
- Leverage your network in the travel and technology industries to identify and approach C-level stakeholders,
- Build and implement direct approach actions, through social selling, events, or networking actions,
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of partnership opportunities, from identification to closing the partnership,
- Negotiate contracts with key players in a complex, added-value selling approach and close deals
- Collaborate with account management / Customer Success / Operations teams to ensure the development of the relationship with the Target Accounts.
- Business Strategy & Market analysis (20%)
- Analyse the market to identify barriers to entry and benchmark Worldia’s value proposition against potential direct and indirect competitors
- Analyse Worldia’s positioning to identify potential improvement possibilities to Worldia’s solution and products to increase market share.

Lets talk about you
10+ years of experience in sales and business development in the UK, for a tour operator or a travel technology company (bedbank, GDS, start-up…) working with travel agency networks- Existing network at decision-making level within the travel industry
- Experience in complex sales cycle selling with C-level stakeholders is a must
- Self-starter, ambitious and autonomous with a strong sales acumen
- Hunter skills, enjoying signing new business
- Relationship builder thriving in building long-term relationships in a partnership-based business model
- Creative & tactical business mindset
