Job description
As the SBDC you will lead on the coordination of Sustrans business development work, with a focus on our Liveable Cities and Towns for Everyone programme, securing funding via Trusts and Foundations. This role will provide essential internal support to the Sustrans Design and Engineering team and the Sustrans Behaviour and Engagement team to help identify and assess funding opportunities, and write funding proposals, case studies and reports.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustrans team as part of the Midlands and East Partnerships team as a Senior Business Development Coordinator (SBDC).
You will work collaboratively with the job share partner, as well as act as the bid writing lead.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have experience in managing business development processes and experience of securing funding through competitive processes such as tendering, as well as experience of project management.
You will be persuasive and have the ability to build relationships with ease across a wide range of people, as well as excellent communication skills, particularly when working with authority.
