Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Location: Hybrid (London) Role type: Permanent – Workforce Consultancy Salary: 90,000 – £100,000 + 5% bonus
Opportunity Overview:
We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity to join Resource Solutions as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organizations. Additionally, you will get multiple opportunities to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.
Role Objective:
As a Business Analyst, you will have an important role in leading the requirements elicitation process on projects, both business and IT, including activities and deliverables for defining the business opportunity/problem, and planning and executing business analysis activities. These projects must be delivered to the agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality and enable the organization to achieve its goals and objectives. You will also be experienced in IT change and innovative use of IT tools to enhance outcomes.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Identify business opportunities through stakeholder relationships, shaping ideas, creating, and promoting solutions, and gaining senior management buy-in.
- Lead requirements elicitation processes on projects, both business and IT, including activities and deliverables for defining the business opportunity/problem, planning, and executing business analysis, eliciting requirements from stakeholders, and requirements documentation.
- Conduct requirements validation with stakeholders, gain appropriate approvals, and manage the change processes for requirements documentation ensuring that there is clear requirements traceability throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Critically review and evaluates any proposed solutions identifying alignment with business strategies making recommendations to key stakeholders ensuring they are fully aware of key risks and assumptions.
- Continually evaluate the quality of all deliverables, including those of 3rd parties, to ensure the product is fit for purpose and is acceptable to all stakeholders.
- Manage, motivate, and develop employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement, to maximize the performance of the area.
- Understands the principles of Business Transformation and can translate these principles into business/people change activities and project outcomes.
The Ideal candidate would have:
- Degree level qualification, or equivalent.
- IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) or BSC ISEB Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis
- Background in Pensions, Annuities, Asset & Liability Management and/or Investments and understanding of the products, regulations, and the UK Pensions market.
- The ability to manage and benefit from virtual meetings, with limited reliance on face-to-face meetings.
- Ability to self-manage and work in a dynamic environment with a relentless drive to influence parts of the business and to embrace new technologies.
