More about you
You will possess considerable experience working as a Business Analyst, to include leading and managing one's own analysis on multiple projects, working closely with stakeholders to model business processes, elicit business requirements, and supporting the end-to-end project lifecycle from discovery, through development, to hand over to BAU. A good knowledge of project management and process design software such as Visio or Lucid chart is a must. Ideally you will have experience with property/construction/housing, however this is secondary to the ability to take complicated problems, analyse them, and develop a clear set of requirements for manageable, deliverable solutions.
You will also have experience in managing and developing a team of business analysts, to include mentoring, leading on analysis workstreams and supporting your team members.
Over the coming year the Group businesses you will support will be undergoing considerable business change, reorganisation and harmonisation of processes and software, therefore it would be advantageous if you had experience of software procurement and process mapping methodologies.
Finally and possibly most importantly is your ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business quickly, to be able to ask the right questions in order to understand their needs, and be able to translate these into business requirements that deliver strategic objectives. You will need the ability to be a “critical friend” in order to question assumptions and help teams to think “outside the box” in order to achieve their optimal business processes. You will need superb communication and presentation skills.
