This is an exciting opportunity for a team leader to work in an excellent facility with state of the art equipment. The Blood Sciences core laboratory is equipped with Roche c8000, Diasorin and Sysmex analysers, which are tracked to pre-analytics. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate leadership, team spirit, and initiative in driving significant change as we consolidate our reception and laboratory services for Blood Sciences in the South Laboratory.
Applications are invited from experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists with an MSc in a Blood Sciences subject or equivalent qualification. You will be required to support the Service Manager in developing this key area of the service and an interest in laboratory automation is essential.
The department is UKAS accredited and is IBMS approved for Biomedical Scientist and Clinical Support Worker training. Active participation in CPD and opportunities for further study are both supported and encouraged.
