Leaders in Care UK is helping a global leader in the integrated technology space find a Senior Biomedical Service Engineer to work in London. The successful Biomedical Engineer will specialise in ensuring the medical technology is maintained to a high standard, minimizing disruption of operations in London hospitals. This full-time role comes with a salary of £40,000 p/a.
The successful Biomedical Engineer will perform daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations. You’ll maintain anything from Biomedical equipment to advanced diagnostic imaging and radiology.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations
- Perform servicing as needed to ensure minimum disruption to the hospital
- Develop and foster relationships with specialist medical device OEMs, customers, and subcontractors when required
- Ensure data integrity of management systems
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
The successful Senior Biomedical Service Engineer applicant will need to have 3-5 years of experience in biomedical environments. You will also require the following:
- Certified OEM trainings
- Competency in a broad range of medical devices
- Exposure to clinical areas
- Good communication skills in the English language.
