We’re looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our Construction business based in the Midlands region. Location: Solihull, Birmingham : , full time – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know. Responsibilities As a Senior Bid Manager, you’ll be working within the Solihull team, supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities. Your day to day will include: Assemble a bid team with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid Follow the agreed bid management procedures and ensure they are implemented at each stage of the bid process Chair Bid Kick off meetings solution development and mid bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders Develop tender period programme, communicate actions to the team and monitor progress Attend feedback sessions with the client and coordinate tender queries and amendments. You will have overall management of the bid, ensuring compliance with internal governance and developing a winning strategy prior to tender, of which is concise, and understood by the wider team. While working closely with the submissions team, you will offer high quality responses to the bid questions, as well as having a thorough understanding of the client’s key drivers; through research and early engagement with the clients team and stakeholders. Who are we looking for? Proven experience in bid management and quality writing Bidding experience on education, healthcare, commercial and leisure projects Previously worked with a leading national or regional or We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in Bid Strategy, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will have good project management skills as well as a thorough understanding of risk analysis and experience of bid managing DFE pipeline.
