Experienced Project Manager?
We are looking for a talented, experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management team based in our head office in Maidenhead. You will be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of a variety of business change projects from initial conception through to implementation and handover to BAU.
The projects will typically involve development and implementation of information systems and/or technology to meet business demand. They will be wide ranging in scope, spanning all areas of our Recycling & Recovery business.
In return we offer a basic salary of £61,480 plus Car/Allowance ( = £8,918.40) plus Bonus ( up to 20% = £12,296 ) Healthcare, Pension = Total Package up to £82,694.40
What will I be doing as Project Manager?
- Managing a range of projects ‘end to end’, demonstrating the ability to successfully deliver multiple concurrent and/or complex projects to time, cost, quality and scope
- Delivering projects using a variety of approaches – e.g. waterfall, agile
- Working with stakeholders to determine objectives/outcomes, business benefits, priorities, critical success criteria for projects
- Project estimating and planning (resources, schedules, costs), budgeting, forecasting and budgetary management and control
- Planning for, and managing, business change and implementation activities
- Day to day management and motivation of virtual or matrix project teams across multiple functions / divisions – e.g. business, IT, operations
- Ensuring effective controls are in place on projects – e.g risk and issue management, change control, reporting, etc
- Managing projects through the defined project lifecycle and governance processes
What are the skills, experience & qualifications that are required?
- Substantial project management skills and experience gained in complex business environments
- Formal accreditation in project management (APM, Prince2 or equivalent), ideally at practitioner level
- A proven track record of successfully transitioning business requirements into viable, fit for purpose solutions which are developed and implemented to deliver the required business outcomes and enable benefits to be realised
- Experience of delivering both in-house IT and SaaS solutions
- Change management and control, including business change
- Confident and self-managing, collaborative by nature, with flexibility to adjust working style to fit with differing projects and teams
- Ability to build and manage relationships, work and communicate effectively at all levels (including Executive) with internal stakeholders, third party suppliers and our customers
- Track record of juggling different projects/priorities and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyse and resolve multi-faceted issues in a timely and effective manner
- A natural ability to see the bigger picture and be driven by making evidence-based decisions
- Proficient in the use of systems, tools and techniques associated with project management
