Why we think you will love this role
As Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for the back-end development that drives the functionality, along with integrating all third-party services required for various major UK sales promotions. You will be responsible for the back-end delivery of online platforms, in-app web views, content management systems, API development and integrations, hosting infrastructure setup, performance optimization, costing and all quality assurance aspects thereof. You will excel in both internal and external presentations and be a valued member of the team.
What you will bring to the agency
You will have demonstrable experience in the following platforms / technologies:
- PHP 7+
- Laravel 8
- MySQL
- Azure / AWS
- Git
- Docker
- Jira / Confluence
Digging deeper on the details
- You will work with the multi-disciplinary digital teams in an agile environment to ensure that the proposed functionality meets client requirements on time
- Implement modular code build using DRY principles with standard back-end technologies
- You will Implement and expand on all third-party API dependencies, where appropriate, and own that process for both internal and external needs
- Team-player and a collaborator who can provide insight and receive feedback
- You will embrace and champion cloud-based teamwork across the digital team and beyond

Responsibilities
- Experienced in the back-end development of sophisticated websites with various third-party API dependencies with high traffic volumes
- Proven experience in object-oriented programming working within open-source frameworks such as Laravel to create digital applications and build all required functionality
- Experience in validating the configuration of all cloud-based infrastructure to host and run high traffic volumes digital applications
- Experience of compliance of excellent development lifecycle methodology
- Experienced in producing real-time documentation for all your solutions
- A highly personable and accomplished communicator who is credible and experienced in operating at all levels
