You will play a key part in supporting our health and safety improvement program and be expected to advise, encourage, and train colleagues to work safely.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Provide one to one or team coaching, practical advice and/or assistance to the workforce related to health, safety, or environmental issues.
Provide planning and readiness advice, practical hands-on support and guidance with workplace improvement programs and procedures within the facilities. This may include Rapid Improvement Workshops, introduction of new equipment and area relocations. This also includes assisting with PPE trials, ordering, problem solving and training in new solutions.
Assist and advise supervisors with their responsibility to:
- Ensure the risk assessment program is completed throughout the facility.
- Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents to root cause.
- Spillage containment and response actions
- Complete ergonomic and other EHS assessments
- Supporting and coordinating industrial hygiene monitoring programs.
The successful candidate must bring (Basic Qualifications):
- A strong understanding of EHS regulations and corporate standards.
- Proven general knowledge and understanding of health, safety, and environmental performance.
Desirable Qualifications:
NEBOSH General Certificate
IOSH Managing Safely
Qualified to carry out Risk Assessments, COSHH and Ergonomic assessments.
Experience in a similar role
The ability to organise and manage your own workload.
The role requires you to be self-motivated and have good written and oral communication skills.

Salary: £28,203 – £35,254 externally based on experience
Contract: Contract/Secondment – 6 Months
