Office Services Operator

Title: Office Services Operator

Location: Paul Hastings - 100 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift details: Standard shift is Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5:00pm, however there is a requirement to work 7.5 hour shifts between 8am - 8pm on occasion to cover absence, as business needs.

Break details: 30 minute lunch break

Work model: In person

Staffing mix: You will work alongside one Office Services Team Leader, two Office Services Operators, one Receptionist Team Leader, and two receptionists.

Purpose of the role: As an Office Services Operator you are proactive and an excellent communicator with proficiency in customer service and reprographics. The Job:

  • Post duties: sorting of incoming post, distribution, collection of post from floor mail trays on scheduled mail runs, collecting from loading bay and mail room
  • Reprographics: copy, scan and print requests, e-bibles
  • Ad hoc: Replenishing paper in all Ricoh MFD devices, replenishing stationery in all Ricoh MFD areas, highlighting any stock that needs ordering, assisting reception with the occasional collection of food from the loading bay or ground floor
  • Maintain general office tidiness and neatness
  • Assisting facilities with room set ups and ordering requested materials for the meetings
  • Assisting the Team Leader and Account Manager in delivering critical projects within the agreed timeframe

The Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a law firm or corporate environment
  • Knowledge of working in a multi service environment, particularly mail and/or print
  • Good time management skills, effective communication, consistency, accuracy, diligence, and attention to detail
  • Professional and presentable at all times
  • Flexibility to work overtime on the weekends or stay late if needed
