We are excited to be able to offer a range of Senior Assistant Psychologist posts across the Northern Care Alliance including:
Full time inpatient post based at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust working in the new Major Trauma Centre
Main duties of the job
You will assist with assessments, formulations, and interventions for clients referred to the Major Trauma Psychology Service.
You will also hold responsibilities for maintaining patient databases and assisting in audit and service evaluation.
We are keen to promote diversity in Clinical Psychology. Person specification
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential criteria
- Proven experience in a relevant job role.
- Professional knowledge gained through academic study
- Previous experience of working directly with people who present with cognitive, behavioural or emotional difficulties.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working within a team
- Previous research and audit experience
- Previous experience of using neuropsychological or psychometric tests
- Psychological knowledge and skills developed through personal experiences
Registration / Qualfifications
Essential criteria
- Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS)
- Honours Degree in Psychology (2:1 minimum)
