Derby City Council has an exciting opportunity for a senior analyst to lead on insight and intelligence work for the rough sleeping and homelessness service within Derby Homes, developing and producing high quality data analysis to meet the needs of the service and inform decision making.
The role will be based within the Policy and Insight Team which provides intelligence, insight and data analysis support to services across the Council. The work of this role will focus on supporting the rough sleeping and homelessness service and their partners in understanding and managing demands to delivering their service, working towards and contributing to wider strategic outcomes and those in the Derby Homelessness and Rough Sleepers Strategy, meeting statutory government reporting requirements and responding to national and local policy.
This will involve working together to produce accurate and timely datasets and developing intelligence reports and solutions to meet the needs of the service. The post holder will need to demonstrate experience of using business intelligence tools and techniques to analyse complex data sets and making insight accessible using clear communication and visualisation.
