Job description
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced designer with product development experience, to join an intimate apparel business based in Yorkshire.
The role will involve;
- Innovating and designing lingerie, nightwear and swimwear ranges, taking into account development briefs, factory capabilities, target price points and target customer.
- Working with suppliers to source new fabrics and trims
- Creating technical specs and working on the development of prototypes and samples
- Production of CAD illustrations and technical drawings
- Design research and development
- Conducting competitor product analysis, trend and market research for emerging trends relevant to core market.
This role would suit an ambitious individual ready for the next step in their career.
The ideal candidate will have previous design and product development experience coupled with a good eye for trend and colour. With a strong commercial approach, you will also be good at building and nurturing relationships with both existing and potential new customers.
