The Analytics team helps the business make better decisions using data. We are looking for a Senior Analyst in the Operations team who is self motivated and strives for continuous improvement.

What's the role about?
This role sits within the Operations area and the core purpose is to help the Partnership make insight-driven, commercial-centric decisions. You will need to work closely with teams across commercial and retail, getting close to their world and hearing their problems. You will spot opportunities to improve things through a better understanding of the customer and commercial environment. You will use your analytical mindset and knowledge to ensure timely, data driven decisions are made.
What will you be doing?
You will be working with teams from across the business, including product, commercial and supply chain to help understand what their business challenges are. With this knowledge you will come up with actionable commercial-focussed insights to help them address these challenges and unlock new opportunities, presenting these findings to the teams to help them formulate successful solutions. You will work with a variety of tools, such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Python, R, Sheets, Excel, Tableau and more.

What you'll have
- Relevant qualification and/or extensive hands-on analytically-based experience using customer and transactional databases
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience of synthesising complex and ambiguous information in order to drive actionable insight, brought to life through communication and visualisation
- Strong experience of coding in SQL (essential). Also experience in Python, R or other programming or statistical languages
- Commercial acumen e.g. online or shop trading, business consulting
What else could you bring?
- An innate curiosity about how customers engage with, and shop, retail
- Technical skill, knowledge and experience in the use of Big Data, data visualisation, data manipulation and enterprise reporting techniques and tools
- A passion for learning new tools and techniques
