The Information Department have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst who will work with the Senior Information Manager (Technical / Planning / Contracting) to support and develop our reporting capabilities around planning, contracting and performance with the aim of improving performance.
The post holder will be required to prepare both routine and adhoc reports for internal and external audiences and attending specific meetings where necessary. You will be skilled in identifying and compiling data from a variety of sources, applying tools/techniques for data analysis confident in summarising and presenting results with an ability to present impactful visual material to a range of stakeholders.
The post holder will specialise in contracting and planning and therefore a good working knowledge of the datasets and systems within this area would be highly beneficial.
The post holder is responsible for supporting the Senior Information Manager in the seamless delivery of robust health intelligence (contracting information, planning and demand and capacity) to stakeholders across the local health economy, both internally and externally.
The role will have a core focus on the delivery of Trust contracting and planning performance reporting against contract/planning/performance KPIs. The post holder will be responsible for the production and development of contracting, operational, planning, management and statutory reports required by the Trust for external reporting and to drive core business and clinical decisions. The post holder will have experience in working with intelligence analysis (such as HED), activity forecasting, planning, data modelling, an acute understanding and experience of working with NHS Payment by Results regime, internal and external stakeholder engagement and corporate support within the NHS.
