Job Title: Senior Administrator

Location: Farnham Road Hospital, Guildford, GU2 7LX

Shifts: Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Trust Location: Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and north east Hampshire. We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.

We deliver high quality care across our 140 services, all of which are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Individual treatment and support, which helps people work towards recovery, is at the heart of everything we do.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Take and transcribe a wide range of meeting minutes in an accurate and timely manner

· Update case notes on patient record system as required

· Provide secretarial support to the team, as required, i.e., arranging meetings, ESR approvals, diary management, monitoring cover arrangements, logging incidents onto DATIX etc.

· Extract data from data warehouses i.e., DART etc.

· Type up reports incorporating graphics and tables as required

· Type all letters dictated or provided by the team

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Previous senior experience of clerical and administrative work

· Previous NHS experience

· NHS System Knowledge- Systm One (desirable)
